Уважаемые господа,
Мы занимаемся организацией обучения иностранных студентов от первого класса общеобразовательной школы (Level 1 of Elementary school), до колледжа и университета на территории Большого Ванкувера (Metro (или Great) Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada).
Большой Ванкувер состоит из 15 городов (районов - по советской системе адми-нистративного деления), объединенных в одно муниципальное образование. Основные города: Ванкувер (Vancouver), Ричмонд (Richmond), Бёрнаби (Burnaby), Кокуитлам (Coquitlam), Нью Вестминстер (New Westminster), Сюррей (Surrey), Северный Ванкувер (North Vancouver), Лэнгли (Langley) и т. д. Каждый из этих городов имеет свою самосто-ятельную государственную (муниципальную) основу в том числе School District (аналог РайОНо в советской системе).
В настоящее время мы сотрудничаем с городами Ванкувер, Кокуитлам, Бернаби, Ричмонд, Нью Вестминстер, Сюррей. В качестве агентов мы помогаем размещать учени-ков в государственные школы Большого Ванкувера. Соглашение об услуге заключается непосредственно с государственным School District. Деньги за обучение переводятся, так же, на счет School District.
Стоимость обучения изменяется в зависимости от продолжительности курса, го-рода и составляет около 14000 - 15000 CAD за учебный год. Курс канадского доллара к доллару США приблизительно 1:1. Стоимость включает в себя 12000-13000 канадских долларов за обучение, 200 долларов за рассмотрение заявки и медицинская страховка со-ставляет около 800 канадских долларов. Не включены расходы по подготовке и оформ-лению виз и услуги посредников вне Канады. Не включено проживание и питание, а так же дополнительные услуги на территории Канады, такие как встреча, подбор жилья, раз-мещение, сопровождение, услуги, не связанные с обучением (банк, социалка и т. д).
Ученики с первого по пятый класс (до 13 лет) должны проживать с родителями.После 13 лет ученик может быть размещен в канадской семье.
Rental rates vary depending on the city and the proximity to the downtown: a house can be rented for about $2500, one or two bedroom condo for about $1000-$1500 , studio - $600 - $1000 CAD.
Students before the age 13 must live with their parents. If a student is over 13 years, he /she may be placed in a Canadian family. This program is called Homestay and can be arranged through the School District. There are many families looking forward to welcoming you as part of their family while you are studying. For placement you may choose from one of several homestay agents. Homestay includes room and board ( costs approximately $800 a month). You may also request pick up and drop-off at school. The application cost for this programme is in the range from $500 to $ 1000.
Acceptance in the International Education Program and subsequent placement in a school will be determined by the applicant's educational and behavioral ackground and present academic standing as indicated on the transcripts and immigration documents.
The School District tests the student to determine the level of language and the need for additional English classes (ESL courses). Additional lessons are included in the fees. After a year the students usually speak English fluently and do not require additional lessons.
The School District offers free English classes for student’s parents.
International students who have been registered in the program for at least four years will not have to write the TOEFL examination to be considered for entrance into a B.C. college or university.
Students studying at the country on a student visa for two years are eligible to work in the country on a work visa for another two years . After studying for two years and working for a year can apply for a permanent card (PR CARD ) .
If, for any reason, the Embassy of Canada denies visa , the transferred money for tuition and unused medical insurance will be refunded.
To sum it up:
- The total cost of tuition and living is about 25,000 Canadian dollars per year;
- Full immersion in the English – speaking environment and the culture;
- An opportunity for the parents to learn English for free;
- Integration into the international system of training and further entering a university;
- The possibility of obtaining Canadian citizenship ;
- The opportunity to live in one of the most exciting, advanced and safest countries in the world.
